Organoleptic analysis: ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The visual analysis shows that this is not the classical simple, easy to drink wine. The nose is intense and deep, alternating fruity notes of ripe sour cherry with resinous notes of Mediterranean underbrush together with juniper berries, cloves and cocoa. In the mouth it is full, supple, silky and long-lasting. The aromatic persistence is long and complex. A wine of good breeding, suitable for a surprisingly long ageing. A wine to be matched with elaborate meat dishes and with seasoned cheese. 1t is practically a young Taurasi.
